Panto visit from Stage to School Theatre in Education 22nd Jan 2025

We had the amazing Stage To School theatre group come in pre-Christmas to run their panto of Jack and the Beanstalk. It was the first time we have used them and it was a truly amazing morning. As there are only two actors, they make great use of our St. Marks community involving both children and staff (Jack's Mum took a slight shining to me!). Well done to all of those that took part and a MASSIVE thanks to the PTA for funding this wonderful experience.

A team of 13 children went to Uckfield College to compete against 8 other schools with children taking part in up to 4 events. In total, the girls finished 2nd and the boys finished 1st. Their scores then combined giving us a grand total of 412 points and winning the event by 8 points!

Y3/4 Mixed Football Tournament - October 2024 15th Oct 2024

8 Cocoon children participated in a football tournament held at Manor Primary. For 2 of these students it was their first time ever representing St Mark’s! Overall the tournament was a huge success and the positivity from the team was un-ending, another proud moment for us coming 5th overall!

Cross Country event - October 2024 2nd Oct 2024

12 Children took part in the Cross Country Event. Children who finished in the top 20 qualified to run for Uckfield in the North Wealden Partnership final. St Marks had 4 qualifiers, which is simply amazing. All of the children who participated gave it their full effort and we a super proud of every one of them and good luck to the qualifiers!!

The girls were praised for their football knowledge and their effort was 100%. In the playoffs, we had a goal from Iris and many shots on target from Willow!

This year 5/6 football team played in a tournament after school. Coming 4th out of 12 schools! There was some lovely football and excellent team work. Well done!
